Meditation
Every Sunday at 9am in the great room at MAHA, Mindfulness Meditation is offered. Mindfulness Meditation is a tradition of meditation that is nonjudgmental awareness of the present moment. A practice to still the mind and the body to uncover inner peace. TheĀ one hour sit will include Dharma talk, body scan, guided meditation, spiritual reading and silent meditation. Like minded people gather led my Emily Liss who has completed Jon Kabat-Zinn's Professional Training. Emily is also influenced in her practice by Sensei Beate of Upaya Zen Center and is a certified yoga teacher.. All are welcome. No experience necessary. By donation.
